My mom and I made gingerbread houses and everyone decorated. We used this recipe and this one too. Cardamomme is a lovely spice. And we made stained glass windows with hard candy. They turned out great.

did you know the Madison Hospital does a Gingerbread House contest every year....the houses I saw were a amazing...if you're still around here next Christmas, you should try it. $100 first prize and $50 prize for People's Choice
