I tried something new; I cooked the apples in a thick iron pot with a little cornstarch to make a thick sauce.

Peach Lavender Crisp

I didn't grow the lavender myself. My neighbor grew the lavender, and he traded me for some tomatoes from my garden. So this gets to be on the blog too.

I was smelling the lavender, I was smelling the peaches, and I got this crazy idea. This crisp turned out not so bad. A sweet and subtly savory treat.
