I like this print because

it's of my husband

it is fairly large

I etched the plate for so long that the lines are deeply embossed

the newspaper is an actual page from a French paper

I chose a French paper for several reasons but one is because I minored in French in college, and I wanted to represent that in this, one of my last prints of my undergraduate career

my sister sent me the French newspaper from New York City

merry christmas card

The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho used my print for their Christmas card this last season.

That was nice of them.

Opening Night

The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho invited the advanced printmakers from BYU-Idaho to have a little print show again.

I submitted three. (This one, this one, and that one.)

Our print show, and the Idaho Paints Idaho exhibit will be up in the museum until the beginning of August. Worth it.

Pa Kjynna

This is the house my mother's family lived in before emigrating to Amercia. It is in Norway on an isalnd in the Oslo fjord called Tjome. The house is named Kjynna. This print is all aquatint.

This is one of the prints that was in the Museum of Eastern Idaho. The Museum bought this for their permanent collection.
